We listen, act, and transform
Hi, I’m Karolina—I'm so glad you’re here.
I’m a licensed therapist with a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas. I began my career providing therapy in nursing homes, and then spent six deeply meaningful years in Community Mental Health, working primarily with Latinx immigrant communities. Since 2015, I’ve been in private practice, offering a space for healing, growth, and connection.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that we are shaped by many layers—our biology, families, cultures, work and school environments, sexual and gender identities, and the communities we’re part of. All of these contexts matter, and I hold them with care as we explore what’s bringing you to therapy.
I take a relational, strengths-based approach. I see you as the expert of your own experience—you may just need support, space, or a steady witness to help access what you already know deep down. Together, we’ll work with your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and somatic (body-based) awareness to move toward healing in a way that feels right for you.
When it feels supportive, I also love to incorporate expressive arts—like movement, painting, writing, or music—as a way to connect more deeply to yourself. Always with your permission, and always at your pace.
I truly believe that our bodies carry our stories—and when we create a safe environment to listen, they often have so much wisdom to share. It’s a privilege to be part of that process, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
